Harbourside Self Catering Flat is situated in the old commercial area of the historic shipbuilding and slate port of Porthmadog, Gwynedd in North Wales. It is a Grade II listed building adjacent to the Porthmadog harbour and within a stone's throw of the sailing and yachting centre, including the Madog Yacht Club which was the former Seaman's Mission.

There are two restaurants just a few doors away. The Porthmadog leisure centre and swimming pool is located at the other end of town.

Porthmadog is surrounded by magnificent mountains and seaside and centrally located for exploring Snwodonia and serves as a gateway to the Llyn Peninsula . The picturesque, village of Borth y gest, with its sandy coves is a mile's walk past the harbourside boatyards. By car, the sandy 3 mile beach at Black Rock - ideal for swimming, sunbathing with spectacular views of Cardigan bay; is only a two mile drive away from Porthmadog holiday flat. Close by is the Morfa Bychan golf course, trout fishing lake and the children's activity centre at Ropework.
